Delivered from our Bristol Barton Hill depot, this ambitious project combined many different deliverables within one overall project – as the trains became due a scheduled C6 examination, the opportunity was taken to enhance the scope of deliverable work to include the undertaking of PRM-TSI modifications alongside a mid-life upgrade of vehicle systems and the provision of additional customer experience modifications. Completing the scope of work was a full internal and external rebrand into the customers new corporate colour scheme.
When completed the trains were returned to service in first class cosmetic and mechanical condition, and the additional reliability improvements deliver a vastly improved environment to the travelling public both in the sense of a fresh and brighter ambience, but also in the provision of additional facilities for their journey that were not available prior to the refurbishment project.
